Instant help
I am an adult learner and have been playing for about a year now. I’ve been struggling for several months with maintaining proper bow hold and this has absolutely helped me! I’ve had it on my bow for almost a week and I see a marked difference. I wish I’d have known about it in the beginning.

Bow Hold Buddies
As an adult violin student, I was having difficulty holding my bow in the proper way due probably to aging and stiff joints. The bow hold buddy is great! It keeps my pinkie and thumb in their proper place. I like the soft material it's made of also. It has improved my playing! Thanks!

Bow hold buddy
As an adult who started playing during the pandemic without a teacher, when I got a teacher the first thing we needed to fix was my bow hold. Unfortunately I had learned some pretty bad habits. Thankfully, she suggested the bow hold which fixed my hold immediately and lets me focus on other things!

So glad we purchased
My son is starting violin at age 10 and was balking at holding the bow since he doesn’t have strong grip strength, and a more accurate finger placement. This helped him 100% and he’s happily flying through his practicing. Thanks so much!

Easy to use and made a difference right away
As an adult violin player I didn’t think I could do anything about my challenges with my thumb and pinky on my bow hand. This easy to use tool has made it better for me to hold the bow in place. I’ve only used it for a few days but I am excited to see my progress.

Bow Hold Buddies for Violin
I'm 41 years old, absolutely brand new to playing the violin (or any instrument), learning on my own via the internet, and still just learning to try to bow the open strings perpendicular, straight, and one at a time. I have really small hands for a man, especially a man my size (5'10") and have struggled tremendously with the bow hold.
When I installed the bow hold buddies, it took me a little awkward wiggling of my fingers and then, BOOM they fell into place and the bow hold suddenly felt light and controllable -- even, dare I say, comfortable!
I've got a very long way to go before actually making music, but this just improved my chances tremendously! It was worth every penny, and I'm not ashamed to say that even if I never find my hold without this, I'll keep it on there. Wonderful accessory! -
I Like Your Critters!
Just taught at the Starling-Delay Symposium at Juilliard and told everyone about your cool critters for the bow hand.
I lead teacher training sessions all over the country and would be happy to spread the word. -
Just popped them right on the bows and BOOM!
I can't tell you enough how handy the bow buddies are in beginning strings!!

I was so delighted to get your bow hold correctors.
Thank you!
Bow Hold Buddies accessory really works!! -
Happy!
I just wanted to let you know that I've been sending an email regarding your Bow Hold Buddies to all my adult students each semester.

KUDOS!
LOVE your Bow Buddy!
Three of my adult novice students are using it and it puts their right hands INSTANTLY into the correct, relaxed position.
This is a terrific learning aid and I can't recommend it too highly.
I also find that when the right hand is relaxed, it's much easier for the left one to stop clutching the fingerboard in a death grip. -
We tried your Bow Hold Buddy - and voila!
I have a student who could never get his bow hold right, no matter what I tried with him - we had been spending way too much lesson time on it, week after week.
It didn't help that he is very left handed and extremely double jointed.
By the middle of any piece, his bow hold would collapse, and he'd lose control.
Anyway, we tried your Bow Hold Buddy - and voila!
He now can hold his bow correctly - and use long bow strokes!
Thank you!
