Hand just falls into place: I believe using a Bow Hold Buddy will nearly eliminate the pains of early bow hold development just by using it for a few weeks or months. 

The package came with the two pieces "installed" on a pencil that compares in thickness to a bow stick which gave a great model of how it should appear when placed on a bow. 

Being my seven year old student (with hands that compare to a five year old) was so new that she had only once held a bow in anything resembling correctly, I had her try some teaching exercises (windshield wiper, stir the pot, etc) with the pencil.
