"I'm a violinist and teacher and would recommend this highly for beginner violinists and also people who are playing the violin but haven't mastered the bow hand and arm. 

It supports your hand in the correct position and enables you to just play without being anxious that your bow hand position is not right. 

I use this with all my beginner pupils and they really like the frog and fish feature."
