Will this bow accessory fit my bow?

Bow Hold Buddies™ and Cellophant™ bow accessories are made of molded silicone rubber which has the capability of easily stretching to accommodate varying diameters of bow sticks and wrappings.

Is this bow accessory washable?

Yes! Accessories, when not installed on a bow, are washable in soap and water -- even the dishwasher, if necessary.

Will this bow accessory damage the finish on my bow?

The bow accessories are safe for all bow finishes.

How long should I use this bow accessory?

Bow hold learning time varies quite a bit from player to player. Each accessory may be removed and re-attached as necessary. Because these accessories have been designed to not preclude the natural points of contact between the fingers and the bow, continued use, even after no longer needed, will not impede further development of the players' bow hand technique.

I am allergic to latex rubber. Will this be a problem?

No. The silicone rubber your accessory is made from contains no latex.

Will my bow with the Bow Hold BuddiesTM bow accessory installed still fit in my instrument case?

Yes, it will most likely fit – although in cases designed to store more than one bow, perhaps only the lower choice of storage spaces will work. Use care when loading the bow into the case, especially the first time.

I noticed the frog part of my Bow Hold BuddiesTM bow accessory moves a lot when I am playing. Why?

Once inserted into the hood of the accessory frog, the inside corner of your thumb needs to press against the bow and NOT against any part of the accessory.
