I tried it last night, and it really is the classic Galamian bow grip.

Sandy Neill: I had some teachers come in to the store yesterday. We liked how your fingers were touching the bow in all the places it typically would without the bow grip on the bow. By having the pinky in the proper place, it helped put the rest of the hand in position.
